The short version: Whalecast shows public prediction-market data for information only. It is not financial advice, and you are responsible for your own decisions. Pro renews automatically until you cancel in your Apple account settings.

1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of the Whalecast app and website ("Whalecast", "we", "us"). By using Whalecast you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. If you downloaded Whalecast from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Whalecast.

3. Not financial advice

Whalecast is an information tool. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or bet on anything. Rankings, profits, alerts and bet explanations come from public data and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. A trader's past results do not predict future results. Prediction markets carry real risk, and you can lose money. Any decision you make is yours alone, and you are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including whether prediction markets are legal where you live.

4. Third-party data

Market, trader and trade data comes from Polymarket and public blockchain sources. Whalecast is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Polymarket. We don't control that data and can't guarantee that it is accurate, complete or available.

5. Whalecast Pro subscriptions

Whalecast Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly or monthly. There is no free trial: the first payment is taken when you subscribe. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings, or from Settings › Manage subscription in the app.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Whalecast. For example, don't scrape or resell its data, interfere with or overload the service, reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it, or use it for anything illegal.

7. Our content

The Whalecast app, name, design and artwork belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes under these terms.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Whalecast running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. If we make significant changes to these terms, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. If you keep using Whalecast after that, you accept the new terms.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Whalecast is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Whalecast or your reliance on its data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Whalecast Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Whalecast at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend access if you break these terms.
